Rachel Goh

Rachel Goh is the founding Director of both Ethos Psychology and The Ethos Centre. She is a Clinical Psychologist ( AHPRA), board approved supervisor with double Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology, Psychology and a member of the AAPi and APS. She has created a team of professionals with a positive community feel while working with clients through the complexity of their needs. Her current work has a special focus on family violence issues, sexual abuse, complex trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Bipolar Disorder, and Neurodiversity.

Over her professional psychological practice, she has worked in private practice, community health (clinical and forensic, homelessness and family violence), forensic disability (government) and TAFE educational setting working with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, drug and alcohol-related issues, psychotic disorders, relationship issues, gender identity problems, intellectual disabilities and trauma.

She works with children, adolescents and adults working through the complexity of their needs. She’s passionate about developing a strong therapeutic relationship with consistent engagement to work through the core nature of individual issues. She’s trained in a variety of specialised and evidence-based interventions including CBT (trauma focussed; TF-CBT), Schema Therapy and EMDR, DBT skills techniques, psychotherapy (Sensorimotor, Neuro-psychotherapy), personality integration, brief psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, trauma aware movement interventions, neurodivergent affirming therapy, mindfulness, solution focussed therapy and group therapy. With her background as a professional athlete (Australian Swimmer #661), she brings unique experience in the management of performance pressures and building self-confidence. She endeavours to promote self-awareness, empowerment and produce positive outcomes while in a safe and supportive environment.

She’s also able to provide written documentation for legal purposes such as family court, visa/immigration issues, letters of support, VOCAT and Department of Health and Human Services documents.

Rachel provides a specialised Concierge Psychology service.

Registered provider with NDIS (self managed and plan managed), Work Cover/Work Safe, TAC, Victims Assistance Program (VAP) and VOCAT.


Jeniffer Munoz

Jeniffer is a Registered Psychologist that holds a diverse set of qualifications, including a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Andres Bello University, Chile, a Master's in Psychology of Work and Organisations from the University of Valparaiso, Chile, and a Master's in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Flinders University, Australia.

Across her professional psychological practice, she has worked with Employers Assistance Programs (EAP), private practice, occupational health and academic educational settings. Her experience spans working with children, young people, families and adults, offering treatment for the full range of mental health and wellbeing issues. Jeniffer is also an accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor. Her services cater to children to adults, with expertise in various areas, including PTSD, phobias, OCD, ADHD, ASD, workplace stress, LGBTQIA+, panic attacks, child behavior, EAP, suicide ideation/attempts, and sleep issues.

Jeniffer employs evidence-based treatments like Motivational Interviewing, combining a client-centred and goal-oriented approach to address ambivalence about change. Grounded in psychodynamic principles, she integrates attachment theory, family systems, and present behaviors to foster self-awareness of past influences on present behaviors.

Passionate about promoting health and well-being, Jeniffer has conducted workshops for organisations, providing therapeutic support to support workplace mental health. Her research at Andres Bello University in Chile covered the prevalence of psychological diagnoses in children with attention deficit disorder (ADHD) and drug prevention programs in adolescents. Jeniffer is enthusiastic about helping clients live meaningfully and purposefully.

Through her professional practice she believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance to help individuals attain their goals and fulfil their potential. Jeniffer is excited to be part of a boutique private practice team at Ethos Psychology where she can contribute positively to the broader community. In her spare time Jeniffer enjoys engaging with her connections through the enjoyment of food, togetherness and contributing to the well-being of those around her.


Yang Yan (YY)

Yang Yan (YY) is a compassionate Provisional Psychologist who is currently undertaking registration in Australia (AHPRA) after practicing in Malaysia as a Clinical Psychologist. With a holistic approach, YY creates a warm and supportive environment where her clients feel empowered to navigate life's challenges.

In her practice, YY has experience working with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, family conflicts, grief, life transitions, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties. Regardless of the presenting issue, she tailors each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual or couple, drawing from evidence-based approaches to foster self-awareness and lasting, positive change. She uses various therapeutic approaches, with a strong inclination toward Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT, level 2) and often integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques when they are beneficial to clients. She believes in the power of self-compassion, which is a core element her practice.

YY is also passionate about building strong healthy relationships, as it is the foundation of a good family, and for our future generations. She uses the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy to help couples build new skills for their conflicts and enhance strengths within the relationship.

Whether supporting someone through a major life event or helping them address deep-seated emotional wounds, YY brings a caring presence and a commitment to her clients' wellbeing. Through her warm and client-centered approach, she creates a safe space for individuals to explore their challenges and unlock their inner resilience.

YY is motivated to support her clients with a warm empathic stance while working with the team at Ethos Psychology.

Karen Kam

Karen is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and was previously a Clinical Psychologist overseas in Hong Kong. She has completed a Master of Social Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology overseas and is re-registering in Australia.

Karen has experience working in community health settings with people of all ages across the lifespan with various presenting mental health concerns. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and she has a keen interest in working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Karen values the potential, vitality, and resilience in everyone and strives to work with individuals to enhance self-compassion and growth. Bringing in her compassionate and gentle qualities, she focuses on fostering a safe, strong, and supportive therapeutic alliance that allows for the uncovering and flourishing of one’s potential.

Karen works from an eclectic approach in therapy. She draws on a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness-based practices, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). The flexibility in the multifaceted approach to therapy allows her to use a mix of effective methods available to address each individual’s needs.

Through her professional practice, she believes in taking a collaborative approach to helping individuals reach their goals and is committed to supporting individuals towards growth and empowerment. She’s excited to be apart of the boutique Private Practice at Ethos Psychology where she can continue to positively support individuals in the community.


Allison Dickson

G DIP PSYCH, BA COMMERCE, IPPA, MAPS.

Allison is a Registered Psychologist with a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and IPPA. She has worked in organisational settings delivering wellbeing programs and supporting healthy behaviour change to maximise performance and improve both individual and team effectiveness. She has also worked with clients experiencing the effects of past trauma, anxiety and depression.

She has worked with individuals through life change across varied domains such as improving general health and wellbeing, stress reduction, anxiety and adjustment issues with changes in life’s directions. She has worked in large corporates to deliver employee health and wellbeing programs and had volunteer positions with the Open Arms Veteran Affairs and Bushfire Recovery.

Allison works with clients across a broad range of mental health domains taking a collaborative approach, with a focus on improving her client’s general wellbeing. She uses a range of evidence-based psychological treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Mindful Movement-based therapies.  

She’s focussed on promoting psychological flexibility while working with clients to develop adaptive coping strategies to live healthier lives.

Su Gorkem

Su Gorkem holds full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and is also a member of the Australian Association of Psychology Inc. (AAPi). She has experience in both private and public sectors including educational and forensic settings working with people across the lifespan.  

Su identifies as a Turkish-Australian, so understands the complexities and disparities of growing up in a culturally diverse environment as a first-generation Australian. She’s interested in working with culturally and linguistically diverse background communities and being bilingual she’s able to cater to Turkish speakers. 

She has vast experience in psychological assessments using a variety of formalised assessment measures including personality, cognitive, diagnostic clarification and forensic risk assessments. She’s able to provide psychological assessments and reports for legal purposes such as, however not limited to; treatment reports, visa and immigration issues, letters of support, VOCAT reports, DHHS documents and can assist those injured at work, on a work cover claim and victims of a traffic accident that are funded by TAC.

Currently, she works in private practice where she has delivered psychological support to individuals in detention, migrants, refugees and those seeking asylum and assessment for educational purposes. As a result, she has experience with a range of acute mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, chronic stress, situational crises and life transitions. Drawing on her experience over her professional career, she also mentors psychology students in their final year of study.

Su is a professional, ethical and most importantly compassionate Psychologist who has unconditional regard for all those who present to her for support at Ethos Psychology.

Nishie Govender

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nishie is Registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). She holds dual expertise in occupational psychology and clinical psychology areas of practice. Currently she works in an organisational setting delivering wellbeing programs and strategy as well as clinical private practice work.

She has experience working with WorkCover, Comcare, TAC, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), life insurance, and in private practice she works with a range of presenting issues. Some of these include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, mood disorders, adjustment / stressor related issues and relationships. She has extensive experience in occupational wellbeing, strategy development, psychological injury management, critical incident response and wellness promotion.

Nishie’s clients include adolescents, young adults and adults under the age of 40, as she is passionate about empowering young people to develop early mental health and wellness skills. She draws upon a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. She is skilled in psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification.

Rhiannon Lewis

Rhiannon a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She has completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Majoring in Psychology and Exercise Science), Graduate Diploma of Psychology and a Master of Professional Psychology. 

Her training and experience have predominately focused on working with young people (late teens to early adulthood) as well as adults. She enjoys working with people of all ages across the lifespan and has worked in the educational and private sectors. Rhiannon’s studies also included a background in Exercise Science where she has a strong interest in Performance Psychology in the sporting, occupational, or academic fields.

Rhiannon has a focus on developing a strong therapeutic and human relationship to work collaboratively in treatment providing psychological care. She is a compassionate, warm, and energetic psychologist who fosters a gentle and safe supportive space for clients. Throughout her professional practice she nurtures the therapeutic space, which allows for self-growth, self-awareness, compassion, and empowerment in the clients that she sees. She has a belief that this creates a more meaningful and positive therapeutic experience achieving healthier treatment outcomes.

Rhiannon works from an integrative therapeutic framework, where she draws from a mix of evidenced-based therapies and modalities. She uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Enhanced (CBT-E), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness Skills, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Her approach and belief in therapy is that there is not a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to connecting and working with human beings. She feels that it’s important to see a person as a whole and to tailor care to individual needs.

She is open to seeing any individual who feels that it would be the best fit for the therapeutic alliance, which she prioritises.
